Our Story
We started Proactive because we've experienced the frustration of inefficient work firsthand. In our prior experiences at Datadog, Intel, Walmart, and Radix Labs (YC), we saw how every new process, re-org, or transparency initiative ended up adding more confusion, busywork, and burden instead of reducing it. Teams spent too much time wrangling digital tasks and not enough time creating real value.
Through our conversations with founders, consultants, product managers, and business operators, we heard the same struggles, constant context switching, repetitive manual work, and outdated processes that made their jobs harder, not easier. The tools out there were too complicated, too slow to set up, or just didn't fit the way people actually work.
We knew there had to be a better way. With our backgrounds in building reliable, efficient automation systems and our passion for making work simpler, we decided to build Proactive, a solution that meets people where they are and simply works, right out of the box.
Meet the Founders
Two technical founders with deep experience in enterprise automation and AI systems, building the solution they wished existed.
Yassine brings deep technical expertise and leadership experience from roles at Apple, Microsoft, Intel, Datadog, high-growth startups, and Fortune 500 companies. Having personally encountered the limitations of workplace automation and operational inefficiencies, he became driven to build smarter, more effective solutions.
His passion for AI and intelligent systems drives Proactive's mission to rethink workforce productivity. Yassine holds a B.S. from Northeastern University, where he was actively involved in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, launching and contributing to multiple ventures.
Oleks is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in automation and intelligent systems. His development expertise spans Walmart's robotics division, early-stage oil and energy platforms, and biotech automation technologies, giving him unique insights into enterprise-scale operational challenges.
With a passion for building innovative and practical AI-driven tools, Oleks leads Proactive's technical direction. He holds a B.S. from Northeastern University and was deeply engaged in the university's entrepreneurial communities, contributing to multiple student-led startups and tech initiatives.
